Settings

Settings decides how many look-alikes the team sees, when Claymore checks, how long player data is kept, and whether a ban leaves the dashboard.

Only admins and owners can open Settings. Save settings stores the form. Queue size, sensitivity, the comparison window, and the run time show up on the next nightly check. Turning bans on in the game takes effect within a minute or two, including bans already made.

Queue

How many to show by default is the queue size for people who have not picked their own. The starting value is 25. Anyone can still move the slider on the queue for themselves.

Flag sensitivity is how alike two players must behave before anyone is flagged, from 0.30 to 0.99. New projects start at 0.80. Higher means fewer, stronger matches. Lower means more flags, and more of them will be the wrong person.

If you set it so low that last night would have flagged several times what the team can review in a day, Settings asks you to confirm. Most of those extra flags would not be real alts.

Nightly check

Three fields control the night’s comparison:

  • Days of chat to compare. Each night, players are compared on their behavior over this many days. The start is 7. The range is 1 to 30.
  • Timezone and Run at. The check runs once a day at that hour in that timezone. New projects run at 4:00 UTC. Pick a quiet hour.

Runs shows whether a night finished, and how the comparisons were spread. If a run failed, the queue keeps the previous night’s list and says so.

Player data

Days to keep chat is how long player data stays. The start is 90 days. The range is 30 to 730. Each night, anything older is deleted, and a player with nothing left is removed.

Banned players are the exception. Their record stays while the ban is active, so new accounts can still be compared with them. Lifting the ban returns that record to the normal window.

Deleting one player by hand, for a request from them or a parent, is on their player page. See Players and bans.

Apply bans in the game

This switch starts Off: practice mode. The top bar says Bans not live yet. The team can ban and unban, and players are not removed from the game.

Turn it on when the team trusts the queue. The label becomes On: banned players are removed from the game. Claymore asks you to confirm, because every ban already in the dashboard starts applying, not only bans you make afterward. Those players are removed within a minute or two, and they are removed again if they rejoin.

Read Bans before you turn this on. Practice bans become real ones.

For Roblox, the game package kicks a banned player from the current server. It does not, by itself, ban them across every place in the experience. The optional universe ID and Open Cloud key on this same form are what add that, once bans are applied. Setup for the package is in Roblox.
